SAFETY

BUILDING STRONGER COMMUNITIES AND SAFER NEIGHBOURHOODS

Every Hamiltonian deserves to feel safe – wherever they live, work or spend their time.

Safe, welcoming neighbourhoods are the foundation of a thriving city. When people feel secure, families can thrive, businesses can invest and communities can grow stronger.

Keanin Loomis’ SMART Plan will:

Build safer neighbourhoods through coordinated responses to homelessness, mental health and public disorder.

Improve road safety by prioritizing repairs, safer intersections, school zones and traffic calming.

Restore confidence in our downtown through enhanced public safety, cleaner public spaces and stronger community partnerships.
